We're updating what the cause admin can see when they view the donations raised for the cause:
The biggest change is where we previously showed the retailer the supporter had shopped with, we now show the name of the supporter that raised the donation. We don’t give any further information about the purchase so the admin won’t know where the sale was made or how much was spent, they will just know who made the donation.
When we used to show the retailer, this didn't provide any information for the admin that they could use to thank the supporter. Now, by presenting the supporters name, we give them more opportunity to personally thank the user who has made the donation. If a user is anonymous we will show ‘anonymous’ too as with the leaderboards.
Admins can use filters to change what they can see and they can download a csv of their transactions so they can do their own reporting on them if they wish.
Like supporters, admins get a breakdown of the donations at the top of the page. Letting them know the total and then broken down into
- What’s in progress – so anything that has tracked but is still with the retailer for an update
- To be paid – what has been confirmed by the retailer and will be paid in the next payment run if they meet the thresholds
- Paid out – what has been paid out to date to their cause
Each donation can be expanded to show more information about it. We will be adding more to this in the coming weeks.
