If you're using the Donation Reminder on Edge you can now manage which retailers you get donation reminders for & whether you see search engine reminders. We'll be releasing this functionality on the other browsers over the next few months.
How to manage donation reminders on selected retailer websites
The handy donation reminders that pop up on retailer websites are the quickest way to raise free donations, but if you want to turn them off for selected retailers just follow the instructions below:
- Click the "e" icon on your web browser to open the Donation Reminder
- Click the "Settings" tab
- Click "Retailer Settings"
- Search for the retailer you want to change
- You can then toggle notifications to on or off
How to turn off Search Engine Notifications for specific retailers
When you're searching on Google or Bing, we'll let you know which retailers will donate and how much. If you want to turn this off, just follow these instructions:
- Click the "e" icon on your web browser to open the Donation Reminder
- Click the "Settings" tab
- Click "Retailer Settings"
- Search for the retailer you want to change
- You can then toggle on or off Search Engine Donation Notifications
How to turn off Search Engine Notifications for all retailers
If you would prefer to switch off alerts for all retailers when you're searching on Google or Bing, you can do so following these instructions:
- Click the "e" icon on your web browser to open the Donation Reminder
- Click the "Settings" tab
- Click "Search Engine Notifications"
- You can use the toggles to turn notifications on or off for Google or Bing
