When will my good cause be paid?

We make payments to good causes every three months, usually February, May, August and November. 

To work out what is due to be paid, we add up the donations that we have been paid for that have been raised for each cause up to the end of the previous month. Once this comes to more than £15 we will transfer the funds to the good cause either directly to their bank account or by cheque in the post. 

If the amount ready to be paid is less than £15, we keep carrying it over until it's ready to be transferred to the cause.

Where can I see how my cause is doing?

If you're on the easyfundraising website, there are three blocks under What's new on the homepage, the third block shows you a summary of your Cause's activity including their name, their donations and number of supporters. If you select See Cause Page you'll be taken to a summary of your Cause's activity.

You can also view a Supporter leaderboard under your Account.

If you have the easyfundraising app, you can view the total that has been raised for your cause, how many other supporters they have and how much you have raised for them using the cause tab on the app.

Can my cause claim Gift Aid on donations I raise?

As donations raised from shopping are passed straight to the good cause from the brand you shopped with, Gift Aid can't be claimed on these donations.

Gift Aid CAN still be claimed against donations that are made through direct card payment donations - if you need more information on this please get in touch.

easyfundraising, Amazon and your Good Cause

If the good cause you’re supporting is registered with the charity commission, you are currently unable to raise donations with Amazon.

If the good cause you support is not registered with the charities commission, then you can continue to use easyfundraising when shopping with Amazon.

How much can a good cause earn in donations?

On average, an easyfundraising shopper can easily raise £100 a year, so the key to earn as much as you can in donations to get as many supporters raising for you as you can. Even just 5 supporters have the potential to raise £500+ a year.

How can I help my cause raise more?

Talking to people is one of the most effective ways of getting people to sign up and by downloading the app you will be able to show how easy it is to use while you are out and about.

Social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter are effective ways of communicating that you're collecting donations through easyfundraising. 

Celebrate the donations you have received and share your personalised referral link to raise bonus donations when supporters sign up and start raising.
