You can change who manages your cause by either being invited as an admin by the current Cause Admin, or by requesting an admin takeover if you don’t know who the current admin is.
Option 1: The current admin invites you
If you know who the current Cause Admin is, ask them to add you as an admin.
How they can invite you:
- Go to the Admin Dashboard: (They must be logged into their account)

- Choose Admin Team
- Find you from the supporter list and select Invite
Once you accept the email invitation, you’ll become a Cause Admin.
Once the new admin has access, they can remove the existing admin if responsibility is being handed over.
An admin cannot remove themselves from the admin team. Admin access can only be removed by another admin.
If you are not yet a supporter the current admin can invite you still by selecting 'Invite another Admin"
They can then enter your email address and select "Invite"
You’ll receive an email inviting you to become an admin. Once you accept, you’ll have full admin access.
Option 2: You don’t know who the current admin is
If you’d like to take over the administration of a cause but don’t know who the current admin is, you’ll need to complete an Admin Takeover Request Form.
This helps us make sure the cause stays safe and is managed by the right people.
What you’ll need to provide
You’ll be asked to show evidence of your involvement with the cause, such as:
- Your name listed on the cause’s official website
- Links to social media profiles (for example, LinkedIn or Facebook)
- Official documentation confirming your role or connection to the cause
Our Customer Support Team will review your request and may contact you for further information.
What a Cause Admin can do
Once you become a Cause Admin, you can:
- View the cause dashboard (donations, analytics, supporters, and payments)
- Edit cause details (name, logo, and contact information)
- Update payment details
- Add or remove admins (including yourself)
- Request cause deletion (these requests are reviewed by our Support Team)
Important security checks
For sensitive actions like payment detail changes or cause deletion requests, our Support Team personally reviews and verifies every request before it’s processed.
Keeping everyone informed
Whenever a change is made to the cause, all admins are notified by email, so everyone stays in the loop.
