- Currently, only a limited number of Brands can track purchases made through the easyfundraising app when using their own apps directly.
- To ensure your purchase is tracked, you need to go from the easyfundraising app to the retailer's mobile website instead of the Brands app.
- Check the Brand Terms and donation rates
- Before shopping, review the terms and donation rates on the brands page on our platform to ensure your purchase is eligible for a donation. Some Brands may have products they may not award an donation on.
- Making a purchase on brand website
- If you have pre-saved items in your cart these may not be eligible for a donation.
- If you make a purchase using an unauthorised voucher code this may cause your donation to be declined.
- If you use any discount cards such as Student, Staff etc this may cause your donation to be declined.
- Amending Orders
- Aim to complete your purchase in one session, rather than returning at a later time to add new items and completing purchase.
- If you amend an order such as returning part order, adding new items, cancelling order and creating a new direct order with the brand this may cause your donation to be declined.
- Retailer Cookie Policies
- Some brands require you to accept cookies when prompted in order to ensure your donation is tracked when you make a purchase.
- Avoid Private or Incognito Browsing
- Use a regular browser window, as private or incognito modes can interfere with donation tracking.
- Complete Online Purchases
- If you encounter issues online and must complete your purchase over the phone, this may invalidate your donation.
- Browser Settings
- Ensure that cookies are enabled and that pop-up blockers and ad-blockers are disabled in your browser settings.
- Enable JavaScript
- Check that JavaScript is enabled in your browser for optimal website functionality and tracking.
- Configure Anti-Virus and Firewall Settings
- Adjust your anti-virus software and firewall settings to allow affiliate links, which are essential for tracking your purchases.
- Insurance Purchases
- Don’t use any saved quotes to purchase, you must create a new quote each time before making a purchase.
