If your donations don't seem to track when shopping on your iPhone or iPad, your device settings may be preventing tracking cookies from being stored.
This guide explains which settings to check to help ensure your purchases track successfully.
Before you begin
Make sure your iPhone or iPad is running the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
Check your Safari settings
1. Open the Settings app
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Apps, then Safari.
2. Check your privacy settings
Review your Safari privacy settings to make sure they aren't preventing donation tracking.
If Prevent Cross-Site Tracking is enabled, this may stop some retailers from recognising that you've visited through easyfundraising.
If you're experiencing tracking issues, consider temporarily disabling this setting while shopping through easyfundraising.
3. Check cookie settings
Make sure cookies are not being blocked.
Cookies allow retailers to recognise that you've visited through easyfundraising and are required for most donations to track successfully.
4. Disable content blockers (if installed)
If you're using a content blocker, ad blocker or privacy app, temporarily disable it while shopping through easyfundraising, as these tools can prevent tracking.
5. Complete your purchase in Safari
For the best chance of your donation tracking:
- Start your shopping journey through the easyfundraising app or website.
- Complete your purchase in Safari.
- Avoid switching to the retailer's app unless the retailer specifically supports app tracking.
My donations still aren't tracking
If you've checked your settings and donations still aren't tracking:
- Make sure you're signed in to your easyfundraising account.
- Always start your shopping through easyfundraising.
- Check the retailer's donation terms before shopping.
- Ensure you're not using voucher codes from other websites unless they're provided by easyfundraising.
