If your donations don't seem to track when using Google Chrome on your computer, your browser settings may be preventing tracking cookies from being stored.
This guide explains which settings to check to help ensure your purchases track successfully.
Before you begin
Make sure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome.
Check your browser settings
1. Open Chrome Settings
Open Google Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser.
Select Settings.
2. Check your Privacy and Security settings
From the left-hand menu, select Privacy and security.
Review your settings to make sure cookies and tracking required for affiliate referrals aren't being blocked.
3. Allow cookies
Select Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data, depending on your version of Chrome).
Ensure that cookies are allowed while shopping through easyfundraising. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent donations from tracking correctly.
4. Check your extensions
Some browser extensions can interfere with donation tracking, including:
- Ad blockers
- Privacy extensions
- Script blockers
- Cookie management extensions
If you're using any of these, temporarily disable them while shopping through easyfundraising.
5. Complete your purchase in Chrome
After checking your settings:
- Start your shopping journey through easyfundraising.
- Stay in Google Chrome until you've completed your purchase.
- Avoid opening the retailer's website in another browser or application.
My donations still aren't tracking
If you've checked your Chrome settings and donations still aren't tracking:
- Make sure you're signed in to your easyfundraising account.
- Always start your shopping through easyfundraising.
- Check the retailer's donation terms before shopping.
- Ensure you're not using voucher codes from other websites.
See our Common tracking issues article for further troubleshooting.
Our guide for checking settings on Android can be found here.

2) Click Settings
3) Click Privacy and Security
4) Click Site Settings
5) Scroll down and click Third-party cookies
6) Make sure Allow third-party cookies is enabled and the Send a ‘Do Not Track’ request with your browsing traffic option is switched off
7) Next, check your extensions. To do this lick Extensions on the left-hand side
This will open a new window and show if you have any ad-blockers, pop-up blockers or anti-trackers installed, which you can then switch off. Some commons ones include uBlock and AdBlock.
