If your donations don't seem to track when using Google Chrome on an Android phone or tablet, your browser settings may be preventing tracking cookies from being stored.
This guide explains which settings to check to help ensure your purchases track successfully.
Before you begin
Make sure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome on your Android device.
Check your browser settings
1. Open Chrome
Open the Google Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Open Settings
Tap Settings from the menu.
3. Check your Privacy settings
Go to Privacy and security and review your settings.
Ensure that:
- Cookies are allowed where required.
- Settings that block website tracking are not preventing affiliate tracking.
- Any privacy features that automatically remove cookies between browsing sessions are configured appropriately.
4. Disable content blockers (if installed)
If you're using an ad blocker, privacy browser or content-blocking app, temporarily disable it while shopping through easyfundraising, as these tools can prevent donations from tracking.
5. Complete your shopping in Chrome
After checking your settings:
- Start your shopping journey through easyfundraising.
- Stay in Chrome to complete your purchase.
- Avoid switching to the retailer's mobile app unless the retailer specifically supports app tracking.
1) Open the Google Chrome browser and select the three dots (usually in the top right)
2) Select Settings
3) Select Site Settings
4) Select third party cookies
5) Select the option to Allow third-party cookies
