If your donations don't seem to track when using Firefox on your computer, your browser settings may be preventing tracking cookies from being stored.
This guide explains which settings to check to help ensure your purchases track successfully.
Before you begin
Make sure you're using the latest version of Firefox.
Check your browser settings
1. Open Firefox Settings
Open Firefox and click the menu (☰) in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
2. Check your Privacy & Security settings
Select Privacy & Security from the left-hand menu.
Review your tracking protection and cookie settings to ensure they aren't blocking affiliate tracking.
If Enhanced Tracking Protection is set to Strict, this may prevent some donations from tracking. If you're experiencing tracking issues, consider using Standard protection while shopping through easyfundraising.
3. Allow cookies
Ensure that Firefox is allowing cookies required for affiliate tracking.
Blocking or automatically deleting cookies may prevent donations from tracking successfully.
4. Disable extensions that may block tracking
Some browser extensions can interfere with donation tracking, including:
- Ad blockers
- Privacy extensions
- Script blockers
- Cookie management extensions
If you're using any of these, temporarily disable them while shopping through easyfundraising.
5. Complete your purchase in Firefox
After checking your settings:
- Start your shopping journey through easyfundraising.
- Stay in Firefox until you've completed your purchase.
- Avoid opening the retailer's website in another browser or application.
My donations still aren't tracking
If you've checked your Firefox settings and donations still aren't tracking:
- Make sure you're signed in to your easyfundraising account.
- Always start your shopping through easyfundraising.
- Check the retailer's donation terms before shopping.
- Ensure you're not using voucher codes from other websites.
